Home Town
I am originally from a small town in
central New Jersey and recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Entrepreneurship,
and International Studies from the Carroll School of Management at Boston
College. My home town, although smaller than the undergraduate student
population at Boston College, has definitely helped in forming my most
cherished values and perspectives. After all, I think it is important to
remember where you came from when you look to where you are going.
Passion
I
am an extremely driven individual who is eager to ask questions, take
on challenging opportunities, and learn as much as possible.
I
enjoyed getting involved on BC's campus, hosting events for the organizations I was a part of, and meeting new and interesting people along the way. I
appreciate diverse teams and perspectives and served as a President of the BC AHANA Management Academy. I was also a Student
Director of the Ambassador Program for the Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics after being involved with the center for four years. The summer after my junior year I moved out to Mountain View to work at Google
as an International Product Marketing intern (BOLD Program) on the Google for Education
Team. This certainly served to solidify my interest in the tech industry. Now, I am excited to be starting full time work as a part of HubSpot's Leadership Rotational Program.
I also love traveling, and in May of 2013 I participated in an
amazing and unique field study course to Accra, Ghana. I studied
technology and its effect on economic development in emerging markets,
specifically in Africa. This was an experience that heightened my
interest in technology and the impact that it can have in truly changing
the lives of both individuals and entire communities. While at BC I was
also able to study abroad in Dublin where part of my family is
originally from.
“To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with.”
Most
importantly, I have my amazing family, friends, and mentors to thank
for helping me to cultivate integrity, a hard work ethic, open
mindedness, and an adaptability that will take me further in my career
than any one business class possibly could.
One of my friends at BC
completed a study for his senior thesis detailing the positive effects
that gratitude can have on mitigating stress and improving self love and
happiness. What he found was a very strong correlation - and I
certainly cannot disagree. Thank you to all of those who have positively
influenced my life, I am truly grateful and I cannot wait to see what
the future holds.
